• Virtual microphone installs by default on every version of Mountain Lion except 10.8.3 that has an issue where user mode audio drivers no longer work. The issue will be resolved in 10.8.4. (Mac OS X)
• Fixed an issue with video freezing after starting and stopping QuickTime recording multiple times during a broadcast. (Mac OS X & Windows).
• Fixed a problem where selecting a shot in one layer restarts playback of file assets in another live shot on another layer. (Mac OS X & Windows)

Supporting High Definition formats and compatible with many cameras, this application facilitates adjustment layers, foregrounds and backgrounds for images on green or blue background, for example (feature "Chroma Key"). You can quickly configure connected devices, edit and duplicate the various shots, watch live changes applied to As, and save your creation to WCST format.
Wirecast comes with a new concept of "shots" that can be used to quickly group up your selected cameras, movies, graphical overlays, and titles into a single object. Once your list of shot is built your, you can easily transition the broadcast between them with a single mouse click.
Real-time broadcast controlling is also really easy using Wirecast's multiple layer support. This feature makes simple to place a company logo or a background music track over your webcast, while swiftly changing between the cameras you want your viewers to see.
